Steam Level Calculator

Account XP uses a step formula: 100 XP per level up to 10, then 200 up to 20, 300 up to 30, and so on. The calculator does the math for you.

Enter either Current level or Current XP. If both are set, Current XP wins (it is what Steam actually stores).

How does it work?

  1. 1 Enter your current level (or exact XP)
  2. 2 Enter the target level
  3. 3 We apply the Steam step formula
  4. 4 You see XP needed and badge crafts required

FAQ

Steam adds levels one at a time. The XP needed to advance from level L to L+1 is 100 × (floor(L / 10) + 1). Levels 0–9 cost 100 XP each; 10–19 cost 200 each; 20–29 cost 300, and so on.

Crafting a normal trading card badge rewards 100 XP. Foils reward 100 XP as well; events and the Steam Awards sometimes drop extra XP. This calculator assumes 100 XP per craft for the plan.

No. Each game's normal badge caps at level 5 (5 crafts); foil badges cap at 1. If you need more XP, you have to spread crafts across more games.
