How old is my Steam account?
Wondering how long have you been on Steam? Or want to know which of your friends is the oldest - but can't find Steam creation date?
Check Steam Account Age via Steamcommunity
The fastest way is to see your profile on the SteamID search site. To do this:
- Sign in to your account at steamcommunity.com
- Click on the avatar in the upper right corner of the page to open the profile.
- Take a link to your Steam profile from the address bar:
- Insert in the search field on the main page of SteamID Finder:
- Enjoy the results of your search :)
This method does not work if the Steam profile is private. How do I make my profile public? Menu "Edit Profile"->"Privacy"->"My Profile" and select "Public".
Get Steam Creation Date Checking Years of Service Badge
If your account is older than a year, you can find out the date of its creation using the "Badges" in the main menu of your profile. Slide your cursor over the icons and one of them will show the registration date.
Find Steam Start Date Via “Source Code”
If you can't find the badge, and our excellent service with detailed account information has not been added to the bookmarks - you can find the date of account creation in a kind of "source code" of the page.
To do this:
- In the address bar to the link to your profile add the line "?xml=1" and press Enter.
- Press CTRL+F and write "member". The date of your account creation will be between tags, as in the example below.
